Seriously, how many people can build a company named after a fruit and turn it into a culture that has revolutionised lifestyle, technology, education, entertainment; and one that almost literally runs the world.
And amongst the many things he has said, here's one where I think he reveals his not-so-secrets in becoming the legend he is:
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
- Steve Jobs
Gone too soon indeed but he once said:
“I’ve always wanted to own and control the primary technology in everything we do.”
- Steve Jobs
And I believe he has.
"Click. Boom. Amazing!"
- Steve Jobs
But I guess of all the things in life that he has lived for, the best is one that many people have the other way round:
R.I.P Steve Jobs. Thank you for putting "a ding in the universe".
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me … Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”
- Steve Jobs
R.I.P Steve Jobs. Thank you for putting "a ding in the universe".
I'll miss your presentations.
